The Fleet
The trucks and chief vehicles Moonachie's volunteers rely on when the alarm sounds.
Our only tower ladder — a 2007 KME with an 81-foot mid-mount aerial. It carries no water tank but is equipped with a 2000 GPM pump, making it a quint by virtue of its combined aerial and pumping capabilities.
Our newest engine — a 2003 Pierce Dash with a two-stage pump, 1750 GPM flow rate, and a 1000-gallon water tank.
Our tanker — a 1990 Pierce Lance with a two-stage pump, 1750 GPM flow rate, and a 1500-gallon water tank for sustained water supply on scene.
Both chief cars — 800 and 806 — are 2013 Chevrolet Tahoes used for command, response, and department leadership on the road.
